This is a story of 4 women from the agriculturally distressed regions of Maharashtra, India. They are from communities who have always been living on the margins of society.
Caste and patriarchy have not only limited but defined the women’s existence. But now, through new farming practices based on agroecology, they are challenging these rigid structures of society. Their efforts on the field are bringing new social equity. The film is about this silent revolution that has the power to break down the age-old practices of exploitation and discrimination.
