Amrin, Mariya and Diya three young women from Bhuj turn their lens towards the most recognisable textile of Gujarat, bandhani, which is produced through a tie-dye technique. Their film visibilises the labour of their neighbourhood women who do the laborious work of tying bandhani knots from their homes.

Director’s Bio
Mariya is a fellow at Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan. She helps her mother at their grocery shop. She dreams about solo travelling and exploring new places.
Amrin Chhatra is a resident of Bhuj who loves to spend time with children. She is also a mehendi artist running a tuition centre at her home.
Diya is a final year student at JB Thakkar college in Bhuj. She loves learning new skills exploring new eateries in the city.
