First Night
Nandhini Sree / 3rd AniMela Festival / India / 01:20 / 2025
First Night draws parallels between the first night of a marriage and the first night a woman takes over her in-laws kitchen, exploring similar emotional complexities and physical intimacies. Here we see a woman go through extreme lengths to unclog a kitchen sink, cycling through various frantic attempts with her hands until, ultimately, she begins to lose herself in the process.
