Director Story

Priya Goswami is an ethical technologist and media maker. In 2020, she built the Mumkin App, an AI-driven app for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). The App is based on her thirteen-year-long advocacy against GBV, sparked by her national award-winning documentary, A Pinch of Skin. Priya received a German Chancellor Fellowship (2018-’19) and is currently a Mozilla Fellow (2024-’26).

Priya is the co-founder and CEO of Mumkin App LLP and co-founder of Sahiyo, an international non-profit based in the US and India. She divides her time between Hong Kong and India.
